Colour: Pale straw

Aroma: Lifted floral aromas, with pear-drop apple and apricot, and a citrus undertone.

Palate: A medium bodied mouth filling wine, with a creamy palate, showing subtle hints of almonds, pears and apricots with touches of spice.

Wine Making: The grapes for this wine were sourced from one vineyard in the Conders Bend region in Marlborough. Once maximum ripeness and flavour development was achieved in the vineyard, the fruit was harvested and gently pressed. The juice was settled in tank and then a portion was racked to old oak for fermentation at cool temperatures. The balance was fermented in stainless steel to preserve fresh varietal characters. Maloactic fermentation followed the oak fermentation along with some lees stirring to soften out and enrich the palate, increasing the complexity and mouth feel.

Aging Potential: This wine is drinking well now and will be best enjoyed over the coming 18 months to two years.
